Google Reviews can create wonders for your business. Not only do they build credibility for your brand but they help to influence customers’ decisions. In today’s society, both positive and negative reviews play a huge part in whether someone purchases your product or service. It’s important to make sure you are gaining high-quality comments that showcase what you do best as a business.
But it can be difficult to gain those reviews; keep on reading to find out our tips on increasing your Google Reviews.
Ask your customers
This might seem very straight forward, but why not ask customers who have already worked with you to leave you a review. You can send them a link to where they can fill the form out. This will not only help build your reviews but it will give you an insight on how your customers feel about you and your service.
Tip: Red Box recommends that even if you receive a negative review, reply and create an action straightaway. Never ignore both bad and good reviews!
Include a link on your website
To make it easier for people to leave a review, how about you include a button on your website that will lead your customer straight to the Google Reviews page. This takes the step of your customer looking you up themselves, which may result in them not reviewing you.
Tip: Make sure the button is easy to see, we would recommend putting it towards the bottom or within the footer of your page.
Add a CTA on your newsletter
If your business sends out a monthly newsletter, why not include a Call to Action button where your readers can give you a review. Usually, when people are subscribed to your mailing lists, they are a fan of your service. This means they are more likely to engage with leaving you reviews.
Tip: It’s best to add a CTA button at the end of your newsletter, as people are more likely to do the action after they have read your newsletter.
Never buy Google reviews!
Buying reviews is just like buying followers through your social media, it comes across as very unprofessional. People who use the internet often will be able to spot a fake review, which will instantly make them find your business untrustworthy. It has also been found that people have written reviews for their own business; this makes it look like you have something to hide.
Tip: Instead of rushing to gain lots of reviews, build relationships with customers and in no time you will have a substantial amount of positive reviews.
Hopefully, you feel much clearer on gaining Google Reviews; just like social media, you need to constantly work to obtain positive feedback. Having a set plan on how you reach out to your customers will help you in the long run.
